If the agreement states that the spousal support is non-modifiable, barring some provision that allows an escape for hardship. The agreement should be reviewed by the attorney that represented you in the divorce or another attorney. The exact wording of the agreement will have to be reviewed to analyze the meaning of the agreement.

You should consult with a lawyer in the county where the case is in the courts. The excat language of the agreement need to be reviewed. Many spousal support agreements are called "non-modifiable", but there can be some language that allows for modification under extreme circumstances, such as loss of job. Contact an attorney to at least get a consultation about the specific language. Have your signed, filed agreement handy.
