i moved from texas to california because of unstable living with my daughter i am in the process of filing divorce papers with my estranged husband who has not been helping with child support for the last 6 mo is there any way he can force me to move back to tx?

No, you will need six months of CA residency to file for divorce, but if you file as a separation, you can start ASAP. Unless, he has a divorce case started in TX, you are clear. It is in your best interest to file in CA ASAP, have him served, and then when 6 months are up, change the complaint for separation to complaint for dissolution, good luck
