Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was a victim of an assault in California. There is currently a TRO on my girlfriend. We want to reconcile. The court date is comong up in a little over a week to decide if it will be permanent restraining orde. What is the best legal way for the both of us to dismiss the TRO

You can appear at the hearing and tell the court that you have reconciled and do not wish to move forward with a permanent order. Also, if you do not appear for the hearing, the court generally will dismiss the request. Good Luck.
