Assuming that your divorce is in California, to accurately answer, the court order for custody and visitation, if any, would have to be reviewed. If there is no custody and visitation order, and the divorce has not become final there are automatic temporary restraining orders. These orders allow a child to be removed from the state of California without a court order or the permission of the other parent. your permission was to take the child to Washington , but not Texas. Contact a family law attorney near your home. This action should be taken ASAP.
