Re: Apartment flood

If your next door neighbor is a condo owner then the owner of that condo is liable. If you live in an apartment building, then the owner of the apartment building is liable. Call us at 213.388.7070 for a free consultation.

Re: Apartment flood

I would need to know more details before I could answer. In addition to what Mr. Moheban has said, it is possible that the flood was caused by the negligence (or even intentional actions) of a worker, a resident, a visitor, a trespasser, etc. If so, that person would be liable. It's also possible that the flood was caused by a defective product and/or defective installation. If that is the case, the manufacturers and/or installers would be liable.

There are other possibilities as well. It is even possible that no one is liable. Without more facts, that's the best I can do.
