Court transcripts

Are not all court proceedings suppose to be recorded verbatim? Understanding that there are some that are confidential, and not available to the public.

Re: Court transcripts

Family law court transcribes all their hearings. In criminal court, you are only entitled to a court reporter in the felony division. In misdemeanors, you will usually not have a court reporter unless you request one, and even then you are not always going to get one. In civil court, you have to pay for a court reporter for trial.
