Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Opposing a motion to set aside default judgment

What is the statue of limitations on filing this motion? If default judgment was entered in 2005 and I wanted to oppose the motion and need a code or statue to back that up where would I find that information? What should my argument to the court be?

Opposing a motion takes more than a statute to defeat it. There is a set of books at the law library "Points and Authorities" which will provide the information your are seeking. You may also be able to hire an attorney to assist you in preparing the opposition.
