Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Hi, I paid a small claims court judgement in full a few weeks back and have a receipt of full payment and a formal satisfaction of judgment letter. The other day I got a letter from court counsel saying that I have not paid the judgement and despite the receipt and letter and need to "remedy" it. Can a court ask me for more money for a judgement paid already paid? How is this possible? How do I address this? Thanks

Did you file the satisfaction of judgment with the court? If not, do so now and that should take care of any issue. The letter you received may have just been a form letter sent out automatically.
