Legal Question in Civil Litigation in California

Can someone use a recorded Skype call (voice & video) as evidence in court? It would be with two people and only one person not knowing the call is being recorded. Both parties would be outside the US and the recording would take place outside the US. If yes or no, please provide references. Thank you!!

yes, it is legal. California only bars evidence that is illegally recorded. Criminal laws are based upon venue. If you do it outside of California then you have not violated CA law.
