I would like to know the statue of limitations on filing in small claims court

Limitation periods depend upon what the lawsuit alleges and not which court the case is in. I would need to know what you are claiming before I could answer your question.

The statute of limitations depends on the kind of action on which you are suing, that is, oral or written contract (2 to 4 years) or other matter.

In addition to what Mr. Iadevaia says, personal injury is two years from the date of injury; property damage is three years.
