Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

second ins hold

i was told that when ins has my boyfriend in custody and reviews the facts (bonded out within past six months from ins $20000 bond) has his case pending with his first master calendar hearing in Nov. that the judge might either cancel the present bond and issue a higher one or keep the present bond and still increase it, or cancel it completely. is it up to the discretion of the judge more than anything else? he did not commit a felony has never commited a felony. does that help?

Re: second ins hold

The bond could go up or stay the same. If it wasn't a serious crime, the chances seem better that it won't go up, but there may be more to this than you've written.
