Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I landed in California 30 months ago through the DV lottery with my family , i intend to work abroad since there are no jobs for me due to the economy recession , i will keep all my accounts , and my credit cards up n running as usual , I also intend not to stay outside USA for more than 6 months , file my tax on time and everything else my family will stay here , will the absent period count when i apply for the citizenship ? will i face ant problem entering the states back n forth ? can i apply for citizenschip after completing the 5 years ? shall this delay the process in ant sense shape or form ?

Thanking u
