I'm not sure you have phrased your question correctly. If the person you speak of has been an illegal alien since 1978, he will face a 10 year bar of inadmissibility if he goes back to Columbia and tries to return. He must spend the 10 years outside of the U.S. Please feel free to contact me at 415-273-9123 or [email protected] to discuss this matter further.
