Legal Question in Immigration Law in California

I came here in united state with k1 visa, shortly after i came here i married my husband, after 6 month been with him i want to leave him, my question is what will happen if i divorce him? do i have to go to my country or there is another way i can stay here?

If you have not already filed for adjustment then you will have to leave the country. A K-1 admission only allows you to adjust based on marriage to the K-1 petitioner. The only alternative is VAWA if you have been abused by the U.S . citizen spouse. If you believe you have a VAWA claim, I'd highly recommend you consult with an attorney for representation.
