Your employer can settle any potential claims with you and other employees. If you have any claims against your employer, call an employment law attorney to discuss BEFORE you sign anything. Most likely, in order to get the settlement amount of only $50.00, you will be required to sign an agreement waiving your right to sue for any claims whether known or unknown.
