Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I feel i was wrongfully terminated from my job the reason they toldme i was terminated is because my supervisor had txt message my new schedule at the same time i was txtng with my girlfriend and i started telling her about the new schedule and how i felt that like my supervisor was going at me personal and giving me amessed up schedule and she replyied "what assholes!" and i replied to her well at least i thgought i did, instead i txt my supervior in the gruop chatwhere he originally sent my schedule "no asshole" which i was replying to my girlfriend cause she was saying all of my managmentr from work, well i was unaware what i had done till i went in the following monday and i was taken to H.R. and was asked if i had sent that txt messagei was clueless to what they were talking about till i went back and looked at my txt messages and sen what i had sent i told them and apologized that the txt was for somebody else and they took it as me telling my sup no, so they suspended me for 2 days after the 2nd day they called me in and terminated me for insubordination! really i told them that message was sent to him by mistake, can they do that?

Since they can fire you for no reason at all if they want, they certainly can fire you for that.
