Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Forced leave

I quit my job on the spot when the Dr. that I have worked for 2 years used a barrage of derogatory words. nIt occured once before but, never acted on it. I applied for EDD and was denied for Conflict with co-worker or supervisor. Are there any laws to support this harrassment that I can use on my appeal

Re: Forced leave

You will need to prove that the employer's conduct was so oppressive and outrageous that no reasonable employee who desires to be employed would continue working under such circumstances. It is a high standard. The words used by the employer, any physical threats or perceived physical threats or unlawful harassment (based on protected status such as age, race, sex, national origin, disability etc.) should be analyzed against the standard.
