Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Is it illegal to charge for make-up services if you are a minor and are not certified as a make-up artist?I have a friend that is charging almost $100 a day and shes only 15 and is also not a professional.I'm sorry if i put this under the wrong area of law.I'm not sure where this would fall under.

An entreprenurial young person can charge whatever they can get for their services, as long is there is no violation of child labor laws. She may have an issue with licensing, though, no matter what her age. You'd have to check with the state Dept. of Consumer Affairs under cosmetology licensing on that.
