Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I'm an massage therapist working as a commission only employee. Am I still entitled to paid breaks? Can they treat me as an on call therapist on days I dont already have clients? For example, my availability is Tuesday but I don't have any clients booked. Are they able to require me to come in that same day if a client calls? Do I have any other rights?

Employees, whether they are paid hourly, by salary, or commission, have rights. Including the right to meal and rest breaks. Contact the labor board or a local employment attorney.
