Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was recently fired from a fast casual restaurant chain over a one time transgression with the new owner. At the first meeting he told everyone they quit or be fired. After almost two full weeks, I still haven't been paid the money I'm due. Is there a case here?

You do have a claim for the unpaid wages. They were supposed to be paid at the time of your termination. You are also entitled to penalties. The claim can be filed before the labor commission or in the courts.
