Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I started a new job 3 months ago and from day one my boss has been harassing me. she has been complaining to me about my hard of hearing and how it is affecting the business. I have felt sick every day and suffered headaches and stress from all of this drama she has caused me. I finally quit today. Can I file a claim against her?

You need to meet with a plaintiff-side employment lawyer. The advice you seek should be kept confidential, and not displayed in a public forum.

May plaintiff-side employment lawyers offer free consultations. I encourage you to seek one out here on LawGuru.

Maybe.

Such case and claim would have to based upon 'failure to accommodate' your hearing disability and harassing you about it. That would fall under the discrimination laws. You would have to be able to prove through other than your 'word' against hers that all this occurred. Do you have witnesses or other credible evidence of it?

If so, feel free to contact me for the legal help youll need. Prepare a thorough written history of your 'claim' facts and issues, and start contacting any witnesses discretely to verify whether they will say what you think.
