Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I work for company as a subcontractor in california. I have lots of jobs that are not paid to me even though company has recived the money. My contract states that i get paid when company gets paid. Can i sue them for my money

The facts describe definitely suggest you have a claim against the general contractor. Since you are a sub, you do not have the same rights as an employee, which means that your only remedy is the courts.

It may be that a strongly worded letter from an attorney is enough to shake the money loose. That is standard practice before filing a claim. I would contact an attorney in your area for assistance -- sometimes a letter from a lawyer has more force than a letter from the client alone.
