Work injury

I got injured on the job on feb 2008, was out on workers comp for appx. 2 weeks, got clearance to return to work from wc doctor , faxed in clearance not to employer. have not heard from employer since, filed for unemployment still no call from employer not sure if fired or laid off what should I do.

You made a mistake by applying for unemployement instead of disability because in your application you are implying that you are able and willing to work and in reality due to your work-related injury you should have been on disability.
