Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was working got hurt and fired while on medical leave? Do I still need a work release statement to go get a job because my doctor won't give me one she wants me on ssi, but I want to work. Is there anything I can do to get a job?

Did you file a worker's compensation claim against your current employer? if not it will cause complications later when you start a new job. You need to go to a worker's compensation doctor that clarifies your work restrictions for any job. This work restriction is a very important information for you to follow and you don't need to disclose it to a new employer.
