Legal Question in Employment Law in California

wrongful termination?

I was recently terminated for what was called unsatisfactory results. I was hired on with a trucking company in January of 2007 to open a new terminal for them in the area I lived in, they were originally based out of Oakland. At the time I agreed to come and work for this company my former boss said I would need to work from home for two weeks while he found me an office. July 1st I finally got an office but he never did more than supply the office with telephones, no chair, no desk no nothing else. I was terminated on July 13th, do I have a case?

Re: wrongful termination?

Wrongful termination must be predicated on some form of illegal discrimination, which was the result of bad cause, not just no cause or good cause per se. If you would like to know if you have standing or remedies available, email us with a short summary on the chain of events leading up to your dismissal.
