Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I own a home and rent rooms out. I have a tenant that has been for for over 1 1/2 years. She is on a month to month. I gave her a 60 day notice on January 1, 2015. She paid all of January and gave me a 30 day notice on January 20th to vacate on February 20th. She wants to only pay for the 20 days in February is that right or does she owe the entire month of February?

Thank you

No, I'm afraid not. The law that requires you to give a tenant 60-days notice is not reciprocal. They still get to treat it as month to month.
