Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California
I am the manager of a small 8 unit rent controlled building. we are currently anticipating tenanting the building for pests in the next month or so. Do I need to pay the tenants hotel for the 2 or 3 days they will have to be out, or do I only have to pro rate their rents for those 2 or 3 days?

Check your leases. They should cover what happens and what is owed in the event of temporary uninhabitability of the premises.
