Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

I subleased my girlfriend's apartment for her while she was out of town for a month. After the tenant moved out, we returned their $250 deposit less $85 dollars in deductions for a broken microwave and a few miscellaneous issues. She was furious about these charges and after much correspondence back and forth, she is now threatening small claims court with her primary threat being that will subleased illegally. No we did make our landlord available we had a friend of a friend staying in the unit while my girlfriend was out of town. My question is whether she can actually bring a case of illegal subletting against me or if that's only something our landlord could bring against us?

Only your landlord would have standing to sue for that.
