Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in California

unlawful detainer

I received a courtesy notice from the court that an unlawful detainer had been filed on may 21,2008. Since then I have not received anything else ,no summons ,no response papers, nothing. Does this mean that I can file a motion to quash on the landlord?
