Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in California

I was wondering if I have a case worth persuing. I was seeing a clinic PA in Washington state. I have many health issues, diabetes being one. He had been watching my A1C and trying to help me lower it. I had a blood test done around November of 2010. He said he would call and discuss the results. I tried calling his office several times, after not recieving a call from him. My husband and brother had gone to see him and ask him to call me on the blood test. He told them he would that evening. Again, I heard nothing. I then asked the clinic to give me a copy of all the blood test I had for 2010 and had my husband pick them up. I found out that my kidneys where failing, and he was aware of it in April 2010. My kdneys are none beyond help and the doctors are preparing me for dialysis. To get the help I neded, we had to move from Washington to California. Is this a case of Malpractice? I appreciate any help, as I am not well and don't want to take on a law suit that would not be successful. Thank you

It sounds like there is a case if the doctor failed to take the appropriate steps if he knew or should've known that your kidneys were bad.
