Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

I got into a car accident and i wanted to take my car to a gentleman that has his own body shop at his residents, but he is not in a shop. I wanted to type out a contract that he can date and sign just in case he causes damage to anything he fixes or anything attached to those parts. That way if i need to take him to court, i will have proof that he said he will be held liable for the things he damaged. Can u send me an example of a contract with the appropriate wording for my situation? Thank you

Do you really want to do this? Does he have insurance so if the repairs he did injure you or your family you can collect or is he rich. The reason I ask you this is it seems you are already thinking of suing him which may mean that you don't trust his work.

So do you really want to save money on repairs that are not any good and could cause you more damage?

You really don't need anything because if he was negligent you can sue him. However I would still do a writing describing the repairs to be done and how much it will costs and how long it will take. If you want you can put on the bottom that he guarantees his work for so many months or years. Make sure he signs whatever and make sure you get something in writing!!!!
