Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Can a company force upon an employee to create a new tool or design new equipment to use daily ? Like a grass trimmer they want us to create something so glass wont break which doesnt exist.

They hire and pay you to work, using your skills for their benefit. Unfortunately for you, there no laws against poor management or 'unfair treatment'. Any employee's goal should be to keep their supervisors happy and make them look good to the company, and make the company money. That�s how the company pays employee wages. If you don't, then don't be surprised to be replaced. Imposing difficult tasks may be their way of getting you to quit, or setting the stage for termination for failure to perform. If you quit, you won't get unemployment. You should try to sit down with mgmt and work this out reasonably if you can.
