Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Over the counter drugs

If a co-worker asked me for an asprin, I gave them one, and they had an allergic reaction to it, can I be held liable for any injury?

I was under the assumption that if someone asked for the help, and me being a good samaritan rendered it that I could not be held liable, especially since I just handed over the asprin, which was specifically over the counter and not prescribed.

Also, where can I find information on Good Samaritan laws for the STate of California?

It isn't your fault if your co-worker asks you for something she's allergic to. I don't see how you could be held responsible for this.

No. You can't be held liable.
