Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Injury

I fell in the room at our timeshare within 30 minutes of checking in. 7 days later when I got home to see my doctor, told I had a fractured vertebrae. My vacation was ruined, missed work and medical bills were costly. Do I have any rights? I did tell them that I had fallen, and was told it would be very expensive to see a doctor there and my insurance wouldn't cover it.

Re: Injury

You do not have a case just because you fell down. You must prove negligent maintenance by the place that owns the facility. These slip and fall cases are not easy, and the defense usually fights these hard and does like to pay.

Re: Injury

The key of course is what caused you to fall? In addition, where is the timeshare located? You always have rights, but you may not always have a compensable cause of action.

If you would like to provide us more background information for a consultation regarding your claim, feel free to contact me.
