Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

i've received 3 emails from a fake email address that contains a virus that corrupted my computer the first time i opened the email. Now i just delete the email address if it pops up, without opening. the message reads something about 'DO US ALL A FAVOR BITCH AND STOP CONTACTING MY BOYFRIEND' is there any way i can trace the email address and find out who is targeting me?

You can search for the IP address on a website that's designed for that, and you can narrow it down to a locale. You can find the sender's IP address if you view all headers in the e-mail without opening it. That's the extent of my technical knowledge. Please make sure to run some anti-virus programs and also some spyware detectors to clean your computer. You also might notify that e-mail's ISP to report the e-mail address for abuse.
