Legal Question in Personal Injury in California

Can I sue for endangering my life?

About 9:00pm on the 15 fwy a charter bus Co. broke down. The driver refuses to turn on hazards. Finally I insist, it took about 15 min.unwillingly he does. I ask him if he has reflecters. Hesaid, I'll check, and never does. As I tried to enter bus he starts yelling at me. I 'm not allowed on this, or any of his buses. Nobody tells him what to do! I sterp back off the bus. As I'm walking to the rear of the bus, I notice that the hazard lights r getting dim. I tell the driver, ''I'm going the call box to call Hwy Patrol before we get killed. After giving the operater the info, she said a patrol officer will be ther soon. As I turned back around, the 2nd bus is pulling away. When I got to the bus, all the doors where locked. I asked the driver to let me in, he flipped me off and started laughing. I asked for my jacket that was on the railing slumpped wright next to him. Again the same finger.(my jacket had all my $700.00 in it, but I did'nt tell the driver that) It's verry dark and cold and all I have on is a T-shirt. What am I going to do with no money no cell ph. and all I know is I'm on the 15 fwy So. I start jogging to the nearest call box. Luckly the Hwy Patrol pulled up. I explained, they drove me 45 mins to casino.

Re: Can I sue for endangering my life?

You have no real damages to justify making a claim. What may have happened does not count as an injury. You may have emotional distress, but no attorney would take your case, but you can sue for a small amount in small claims court.
