Wife is owner of home, wants to add husband on to deed

I am the sole owner of a home, and I

want to add my husband on to the deed,

so that we would both own the home.

Which form do I need to do this? Thank

you.

You need to do a grant deed to yourself and your husband and sign it before a notary public.

Why would you want to do that? If you get divorced in the future you will lose 50% of your home.

I know you are in love now, but you never know. I do not know what the home is worth, but I do not understand why you would just give 50% of it away.
