Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in California

Consentual Sex Turned Bad

I was having an affair, I'm married and he is not, he is a peer in the workplace. It started out fine although I wasn't really interested not even physically attracted, but the flattery and attention got to me since I didn't get that at home. Things turned around and now I'm being threatened, told that other employees have a bad opinion of me, ''the whole department''. Bringing up that I am late all the time and if I have a migraine ''your always laying your head down with a headache'', to justify his leaving to a bar so he can hang with the guys and watch a basketball game for two hours, returning to work without any regard to the affect on co-workers and patients. The comments made by him that he does more work than I do. His internet use during work hours, looking up girls to date on the work computer. He is telling me that ''you don't want to get on my bad side'' and ''you better not piss me off''. what should I do? I'm afraid to go to work. I don't want to deal with this negativity. I didn't think ahead when I got involved with him. It's hard to believe that what appeared to be such a nice guy, is actually so damn cruel (to put it nicely). I didn't see it coming, he seemed so innocent and sweet.

Re: Consentual Sex Turned Bad

If he is demanding sex from you, then perhaps you should consider a sexual harrassment complaint. If he is threatening to expose your infidelity, in exchange for favors then he should be advised by an attorney that he is committing extortion. Contact me directly.
