Hostile Work environment with sexual harassment
I work for State of CA prison. There have been several instances of VERY DIRECT sexual harassment toward several females including myself by the doctors. The management was informed and failed to take any action. Then an employee verbally threatened me and to Kill another co-worker if we did not stay away. Management told me to forget about it, because he was hard to replace. I had to leave because of the emotional stress which was documented in the ER at the Prison. What action can I take, to not be subjected to such a work environment. This was all documented and a police report was filed.

You certainly have grounds for a discrimination and harassment suit with several related causes of action. Each of the females can corroborate the allegations in general, so you should have credibility. There are time limits, so act quickly. Call if interested. 714-960-7584

Sexual harrassment is a very serious tort. You would be entitled to lost wages, general damages (pain and suffering), potentially punitive damages, and, worker's compensation benefits for the stress claim filed simultaneousely with the civil action. Please contact me directly at (619) 222-3504.

You may very well have a strong case. I would need to know what was said or actions taken, by whom, how they were reported, and who responded to your complaint.
