Legal Question in Traffic Law in California

I have a bench warrant in CA for a misdemeanor. I need to travel because of an ill family member and I am afraid of being arrested at the airport especially since I will be traveling alone with my baby. I want to fix it as soon as possible so that I can fly without having to worry. I live in NY and I considered hiring a laywer, but most laywers charge about 1500 and that is the amount for my bail. would it be best to try and pay bail? and is there a way to do that long distance?

Sure, you can post bail, but then you're right back in the same spot - having to deal with the underlying offense.

You're better off hiring an attorney to go to court on your behalf, get the warrant recalled and actually defend you.

Get an attorney to deal with this matter. You need to get warrant recalled ASAP! Which court is it in? Posting bail will just leave you in same situation. An attorney can appear for you..
