photo red light ticket that i never paid & got a letter from dmv that my license is going to be supsended. what should i do

If you didn't show up, the only way to avoid the suspension is to appear and clear the ticket.

If you didn't pay, the only way to pay is to pay off the fine entirely. In a situation like this, better to pay it off immediately, even if it means borrowing the money or you could face worse consequences if caught driving on a suspended license.
