both my parents put in the trust a clause about contesting the trust . it says if you contest you get nothing. my sister hasn't contested but filed a claim against the trusts

Speaking generally, a "claim" is not a "contest". A claim says, in effect "the deceased person owed me money and I want to get paid"; a contest says "I don't like the way this person distributed the property; I want it changed."
