Addendum to living trust

Can I type up my own addendum to a living trust and have it notorized? Would the addendum be considered legal since it was notorized?

Yes you can, and it would be legal if it was done correctly.

I believe it was Abraham Lincoln who said that a man who represents himself has a fool for a client. Is it stated correctly? What are the unknowns? How could it be misinterpreted? An expert may be able to avoid problems that could be costly later.
