Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

What are the beneficiaries rights

I am one of 4 beneficiaries of my mothers living trust. One of the beneficiaries is the executor and is not one of her 3 children. My mother died 12/30/2005. Unknown to me, in 2004, He moved her property from her ownership into the ownership of beneficiaries until her death, when the property is to be distributed. On April 14th, 2006, I received copies of tax forms that has been done for 2004 & 2005, indicating that I was a receipent of rental monies for those years...I knew nothing about this...So I requested that the executor provide me with statements for those years of money in and money out. He refuses..Of course the tax filing that I need to do is delinquent...The house is now for sale. Does the law require that the executor provide statements of the estate to the beneficiaries. I also discovered via the web that the property tax bill for the property has significantly increased since 2004 due to reassessment because the executor is not a direct hier. When I asked how he took care of his additional costs on the taxes, he stopped communicating. Probably why he doesn't want to give me a statement. Does he owe me one

you will need to retain an attorney to determine whether or not the trustee (executor???) has acted improperly and what you action you could take now to protect your interests.
