Credit card debt after a person is deceased.

Can you please tell us if the interest on credit card debt still accrues after someone dies, to the point where estate is settled.

Yes, but many times the credit card company will agree to a quick settlement without the interest. Make sure there's enough money in the estate, though, to pay ALL the creditors or you could have some "personal liability" for favoring one creditor over the others.
