Family Liability

My unmarried father has approximately $100,000.00 in credit card debt, no assets and no life insurance. In the event of his death are his children liable for this debt?

No. Children normally not liable for parent's credit card debts. Only exception is joint debt, such as if your dad put your name on his credit card.
