Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

My father received his HUD registration papers and to our surprize it says," Krootzko Family Trust". When I called HUD (mobile home) to check how I obtain beneficiary names they said I have to send a copy of the trust. My father & I have searched everywhere (mom was very good about all other papers before she passed) but we have not been able to find it. Dad does not remember what attorney they talked to when they moved to the new county in 2007. I checked county records and found none. How do I find out who the attorney might be or the trust copy??? Pulling hair out!!! thanks Elaine Greenhaw

What you should do is to contact the county bar association where your father lives - they can send out a blanket email to their members asking if anyone there created this trust.

You could also talk to the title insurance company that did the escrow - they may have something related to the trust in their paperwork.
