Re: freezing trust from trustee, and getting a certified copy of trust

Sister is trustee, never gave any annual report of funds, can't find her. Need form #'s to freeze account from her, and how do we get our copy of living trust certified. Should we have our copy recorded? How do we get the second person in line, to become the trustee? Mom passed in 2002, sister sold the house, and decided not to give out anything because she believes she is entitled to extra money for watching her for 100 days of 11,000.00 when i watched her for 3 years and never asked for a penny. Need help??? we don't have any money for lawyers. Is there a book with information i can get from the library? or law library?

you need to petition for probate of the trust.

it is unlikely that you will be able to do this successfully without retaining an attorney.
