Re: grant deed

If you are asking whether a living trust that says it owns a piece of real estate supersedes a grant deed that says otherwise, the general rule is "no".There are a number of grounds to prove a deed is not valid, including forgery, fraudulently inducing someone to sign it, etc. Your questions and concerns can best be answered by going over the facts of the particular situation with an experienced attorney. The answers you need will depend on the particular circumstances. Roberta Avrutin, Beverly Hills, CA
