Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in California

How can I make an irrevocable Living Trust or an Irrevocable will. I understand that once I sign it there is no going back, and I'm okay with that. There are no large assets, there is only a home and my wife and i purchased in 1969, this is the main reason I'm interested in this irrevocable living trust or will because I'd like for the property taes to remain the same under Props. 58 and 193

You can create a revocable trust that would not retrigger property taxes so long as the character of ownership is the only thing that changes. As such, you may want to speak to an attorney that practices estate planning to determine whether a will or trust is appropriate. Feel free to contact my office with any questions you may have and we can assist you or find someone in your area to help you.
